Heart Rate Measurements and Wellness Records

When you use the heart rate measurement feature, the App processes measurement results, timestamps, saved history, trends, and any notes you choose to add.

Camera Access

The App requires access to the device camera and flashlight to estimate heart rate. This access is used only while you perform a measurement. The App does not access your photo library and does not store raw camera images or videos for this feature.

Technical and Usage Information

Limited technical information may be collected automatically, such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash data, and basic usage data. This information is used to improve stability, fix errors, and maintain the App.

If you contact support by email, your email address and the contents of your message will be used only to respond to your request.

2. How Information Is Used

Information is used only to:

- provide heart rate measurement, record keeping, history, and trend features;

- maintain App functionality, security, and performance;

- troubleshoot crashes and fix bugs;

- respond to questions, feedback, or support requests.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Saved heart rate records are primarily stored on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.

If you delete records in the App, they will be removed from the App's stored history. If you uninstall the App, locally stored App data may also be removed from your device, subject to iOS behavior.

4. Data Sharing

The App does not sell your personal data to any third party.

Information may be shared only in the following circumstances:

(a) With Your Consent

Your information may be shared with third parties only when you have given clear consent.

(b) Legal Requirements

Information may be disclosed if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, interests, safety, or the security of the App.

The App may use tools such as Firebase to monitor app performance, diagnose crashes, and understand general usage trends.

The App may use data that does not directly identify you, such as the device advertising identifier, to support advertising. You can manage advertising permissions and preferences in your device settings.

You can control camera permission at any time in your iPhone settings.

You can delete saved records directly within the App.

You may also contact support if you have questions about your data.

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to help protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided information through the App, please contact wellykit@outlook.com so the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken.

The App is intended only for general wellness, lifestyle, and personal reference purposes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Heart rate results may be affected by device limitations, lighting conditions, motion, finger placement, and other factors. If you have any health concerns, please consult a qualified medical professional.
